DELIVERY
Time-in-Transit for Stocked Merchandise:
We use UPS for stocked items shipping from the Imagine Backyard Living merchandise store. UPS Time in Transit varies with each shipment relative to “ship from”, “ship to”, and “service type”. The chart below can be used as a general guide and shows the estimated delivery days (time in transit) for UPS Ground shipments. UPS Standard times are comparable but may vary.
Items such as grills, lawn furniture, etc. are too large for package delivery services. After custom-built and large product orders are completed, these bulky items are then shipped by a freight delivery service for curbside delivery. Please allow up to 10 days time in transit (after manufacturing time) for freight delivery within the U.S. 50-states. These freight items are not shippable outside the contiguous 50 U.S. states.
IMPORTANT: Normally the freight company will contact you by phone in advance of the delivery, to let you know the expected arrival window. We strongly recommend that you or someone you trust be at the delivery address to sign for the delivery and check for damage when it arrives. If you give the trucking company permission to leave the delivery without your inspection, you will assume all liability for any damage or loss.
