Introducing elements of nature around your patio can help create a mood and atmosphere that feels different from being indoors. Whether native desert plants, a flower garden, or green grass, a well-designed and planted landscape can help lend a finished feeling to your outdoor space.

Consider the Deck:
When selecting a patio material, consider if you want to lounge outside with or without shoes. If in a shaded area, it may be nice to use a flooring material that feels good on your bare soles but also is able to withstand the weather and exposure of the elements. Another thing to think about is the visual aesthetics of your floor material.

Lounge Area:
We see more and more clients creating separate lounging areas and eating areas on their patio scenarios. This is an excellent idea to give enough room for both dining and relaxing or sitting back with drinks pre or post-dinner. Remember, you usually only spend 15-20% of your time dining and 80-85% of your time lounging.
