Backyard Kitchen Expose

With the spring season coming on, we wanted to bring you the best of our outdoor kitchen designs to provide a little bit of inspiration to spark your imagination. There is no better time of year to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. And an outdoor kitchen can make any experience all the more memorable.

The Cooking Bar

One of the best ways to entertain guests in an outdoor kitchen is to have a setup where they are able to watch and join in the action of the food prep. It makes the eating experience more interactive and enables you as the host to include your guests in the cooking process. The above outdoor kitchen design integrated bar seating directly into the grill kitchen. The open format allows the host and cook to be part of the party while guest congregate around the bar.

The Grill Island

This design put the grill and food prep area directly in the middle of the backyard. The placement allows for the grillmaster to have a full view of the entire entertaining area as he or she directs the cookout. The island includes all of the amenities of the state-of-the-art SunFire grill from a built-in 4 range grill to a countertop sideburner. High quality stainless steel appliances like these are easy to integrate into most outdoor kitchen designs but they do especially well contrasting against the natural tones of granite and stone.

The Party Setup

This design, somewhat offset from the rest of the backyard and pool, is the perfect setup for a habitual backyard entertainer. The kitchen is stocked with everything from a three-range grill to a flattop griddle and has ample countertop space for food prep and staging. For the seasoned host that leaves the cooking and serving to caterers, this is the perfect setup.
